Mr. Charles E. Rainwater, Sr., and 90, of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Bobby McGee will officiate. Burial, with full military honors will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
He was born April 4, 1920, in Bedford County, to the late Buford and Frances Atkins Rainwater. He was retired form Uniroyal Corporation after 46 years of service, and also from Wal Mart.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne Rainwater in 1979, daughter in law, Dianne Spence Rainwater, in 2008, and a brother, Amos Rainwater.
He is survived by a son, Charles Rainwater, Jr., of Shelbyville; three sisters, Juanita Herrin, and Rose Clanton, and her husband, George, all of Shelbyville, and Norma Jean Kruger, of Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Jennifer Naron and Emily Collins; four great grandchildren, Dylan Collins, Amber Collins, Josh Naron, and Jordan Naron.

Mrs. Sandra Joyce Willoughby, age 75, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Dean Sisk will officiate, with burial to follow in Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg.
Visitation will be 11 AM Sunday until time of service.
She was born June 21, 1935, in Petersburg, to the late Sanford and Elsie Pigg Gilbert. She was retired secretary in the Dental Office of the Veterans Hospital. She was a faithful member of Belle Aire Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dub Gilbert, and three sisters, Orelle Scott, Frankie Woodard, and Reba Beasley.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Durward Ourice Willoughby, of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Sherry Lawell, and her husband Bobby, of Shelbyville, along with their family, son Ryan Lawell, and his wife Megan and their son Harper, and a daughter Megan Lawell, all of Shelbyville; a son, Kerry Willoughby, and his wife Debbie, of Nashville, and their family, Chance Williams and Clint Williams, and their children Ethan Williams, Talan Williams, and Casen Williams. She is also survived by a sister, Dean Winnett, of Shelbyville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Burtis Wayne Landers, age 82, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, September 2, 2010, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010, at First Baptist Church. Dr. Kevin Minchey will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 Saturday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
He was born December 3, 1927, in Bedford County to the late Leslie and Lottie Landers. He was a retired City manager for the City of Shelbyville. He was also retired from Landers’ Tire Company, and the owner operator of P & B Pawn and Gun. He was a Charter member of the Optimist Club and was a Deacon of First Baptist Church where he was treasurer and a faithful member.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Elbert and Gilbert Landers, and a grandchild, Ashley Blair.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Exie Nell Landers, of Shelbyville; a son, Burt Landers, and his wife Connie, of Shelbyville, and a daughter, Lisa Blair, and her husband Bill, of Pulaski; a brother, Coy Landers, and his wife Jane, of Shelbyville; five grandchildren Josh Landers, and his wife Katie, Chris Landers, and his wife Lindsey, Courtney Gregory, and her husband Kevin, Matt Blair, and his fiancée Ashley Gatlin, and Scott Blair, and his wife Stephanie; four great grandchildren, Carter Gregory, Bailey Blair, Caden Landers, and Caroline Gregory.

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Cooper White, age 41, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, September 17, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Grooms and Reverend Dan Reed will officiate, with burial to follow in Pressgrove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
He was born June 27, 1969, in Bedford County, to James E. and Nancy Brannon White, of Unionville. He was a graduate of Community High School and the owner/operator of Special Touch Tint and Accessories. He was also involved as a coach in the Coach Pitch League and Junior Pro Basketball. He was a faithful member of Rover Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Arlene Scott White, of Shelbyville; a son, Dustin White and a daughter, Nicole White, both of Shelbyville; two brothers, Randy White, and his wife Anita, and Rickey White, and his wife Jeanne, all of Unionville; two sisters, Eve White, of Murfreesboro, and Julie Roseborough, and her husband Mark, of Nashville.
