Mrs. Donna Kay Clanton Woodson, age 54, of Shelbyville, died Friday, October 15, 2010, at Heritage Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Charles Redmond will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
She was born March 26, 1956, in Bedford County. She was a graduate of Community High School and employed with Economy Pen and Pencil Company. She was a caregiver of Mrs. Ora Charles and a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Eddie Woodson, of Shelbyville; her parents, Wayne and Margaret Clanton, of Shelbyville; a daughter, Tabitha Woodson Philpot, and her husband James, of Shelbyville; a sister, Penny Clanton Cooper, and her husband Brent, of Shelbyville; three grandchildren, Tyler Philpot, Hailey Philpot, and Mayalana Philpot; nieces Mary Margaret Cooper and Emma Grace Cooper; her birth mother, Connie Brown, of Shelbyville.

Mrs. Elizabeth Fletcher Koonce, age 99, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Christian Care Center of Bedford County.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Jeff Smith will officiate, with burial to follow in Leming Cemetery in Normandy.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 AM until time of service.
She was born September 22, 1911, in Bedford County, to the late Frank and Mary Frances Robinson Fletcher. Mrs. Koonce worked at Empire Pencil Company for a number of years and later moved to Normandy, where the Koonces owned and ran Koonce Grocery Store for eighteen years. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Marvin Koonce.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Marvin (Buddy) Koonce, and his wife Mary Ellen, of Shelbyville; a daughter, Marie Parks, and her husband David, of Lynchburg; brother, Ben Fletcher, and his wife Jo, of Lynchburg; six grandchildren, Karen Kirchner, of Nashville, Kelly Kirchner, of Murfreesboro, Jennifer Thorpe, and her husband Dickey, Doug Koonce, and his wife Kim, Johnathan Koonce, all of Shelbyville, David Koonce, and his wife Laura, of Murfreesboro; eight great grandchildren, Will Thorpe, Katie Thorpe, Rachel Thorpe, Claire Thorpe, Ellie Thorpe, Bethany Koonce, Julia Koonce, and Trey Snell.

Elizabeth Ann “Mama Liz” Keele, age 49, of Shelbyville, died Monday, October 18, 2010, at Heritage Medical Center.

She was born August 26, 1961, in Wartrace, to Anna Pearl Scott Keele, of Shelbyville, and the late Rubin Bob Keele. She was employed with Menza’s Daycare and affectionately known as “Mama Liz” to many young folks.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent Keele.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Vincent “V.A’ Johnson, of Shelbyville; three daughters, Harmony Lynn Keele, Naomi Nicole Keele, and Pandora Love Keel, all of Shelbyville; a brother, Rubin Keele, and his wife Claudia, of Shelbyville; two sisters, Edna Johnson, of Murfreesboro, and Tammy Marsh, and her husband Prentice, of Shelbyville.

She was born May 23, 1913, in Bedford County, to the late Oscar Bogle and Lizzie Jane Damron Sudberry. She was a homemaker and member of Northfork Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Herman Adcock in 1967 and her second husband, Otha Brent Yowell in 2000, and a grandson, Brad Adcock.
She is survived by a son, James Richard Adcock, of Shelbyville; two daughters, Mary Jane Parks, and her husband Leroy “Connell”, of Clarksville, and Bonnie Mae Brown, of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Nellie Mae Burrahm and Gertrude Hasty, both of Shelbyville; five grandchildren, Blake Parks, Blair Parks, Alison (Scott) Calhoun, Ricky Adcock, and Bobette Brown; five great grandchildren, Jacob Adcock, Lucas Adcock, Bradley Calhoun, Paul Michael Calhoun, and Alex Calhoun.

She was born July 3, 1909, in Bedford County, to the late Berry Shelby and Stella Thompson Gill. She was a retired custodian from the Bedford County courthouse, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Morgan Sheffield, in 1978, and a granddaughter, Susan Lynn Brown.
She is survived by a son, Frank Morgan Sheffield, of Shelbyville; two daughters, Stella Burton and Letsie Louella Sheffield Brown, both of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren, Randy Brown, Ray Brown, Wayne Brown, Wendy Brown, and her husband Tucker, Clifton Burton, Brent V. Mr. Marvin Whitaker, age 91, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday. October 26, 2010, at the Heart Remembers.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, October 29, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Dr. Tom Rousseau and Reverend Mark Ashley will officiate, with burial to follow in Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle.

He was born May 8, 1919, in Bell Buckle, to the late Allie T. and Eva Elkins Whitaker. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy and served in World War II. He earned a Bachelors Degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Masters Degree form Peabody College. He taught at Bell Buckle High School for many years before becoming principal in 1961. He was the first principal for Cascade High School and was former Mayor and City Recorder for the town of Bell Buckle. He held membership in the American Legion, Masonic Lodge 122, Tennessee Retired Teachers Association and National Education Association. He was a faithful member of Cannon United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Whitaker in 2000 and a sister, Rebecca Sullivan.
He is survived by a son, Paul A. Whitaker, and his wife Cindy, of Bell Buckle; a daughter, Lynn Hodge, and her husband John, of Morristown, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jeff Whitaker, and his wife Darlene, Brad Whitaker, and his wife Melynda, Jill Moore, and her husband Russell, Wendy Hodge Bohannon, and her husband David, and Jana Hodge; five great grandchildren, Heather Ketterer, Caroline Whitaker, Thomas Whitaker, Henry Moore, and Charlie Moore.

Mr. Clark Avery “Fuzzy” Fuller, age 75, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center.

He was born February 23, 1935, in Bell Buckle, to the late William Daniel and Maude Wester Fuller. He worked in the construction industry and was a Baptist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Knox Allen fuller, and two sisters, Virginia Roberta Williams and Emily Levenia Dodd.
He is survived by three sons, Jimmy Fuller, and his wife Anita, of Decherd, Tennessee, Tom Fuller, of Shelbyville, Ricky Fuller, and his wife Peggy, of New Palestine, Indiana, and Frankie Fuller, and his wife Crystal, of Shelbyville; one grandson, Richard “Richie” Fuller, of Ft. Hood, Texas.
