Mr. Lester Wayne Hudson, age 67, of Beech Grove, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Medical Center of Manchester in Manchester.
Memorial services will be 6 PM Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Donnie Jones will officiate.
Visitation will be 4-6 Tuesday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
He was born May 16, 1943, in Shelbyville, Tennessee, to the late Don and Myrtle Bingham Hudson. He was retired from General Motors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judith McConnell Hudson in 2000, and his father in law, Raymond McConnell. Also preceding him in death were four brothers, Bobby Hudson, Johnny Hudson, James Hudson, and Melvin Hudson and a sister, Patsy Rhodes.
He is survived by a son, Lester Wayne Hudson, Jr., of Beech Grove and a daughter, Patsy Campbell, and her husband Craig, of Murfreesboro; four brothers, Charles Hudson, and his wife Margaret, of Shelbyville, Tommy Hudson, and his wife Tracy, of Maumee, Ohio, Taylor Hudson, and his wife Debbie, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Alton Hudson, and his wife Celia, of Yorbalinda, California; four grandchildren, Amanda Jobes, and her husband Jeff, Brandon Hudson, Jacob Campbell, and Cole Campbell; two great grandchildren, Brianna Jobes and Carter Jobes; mother in law, Sue McConnell, of Shelbyville.

Mrs. Renaecker Jean Arnold, age 69, of Manchester, formerly of Shelbyville, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma.
Funeral services will be 12 PM Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Robert J. McClean will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to service.
She was born August 10, 1940, in Nashville, to the late B.W. Britton and Lucille Henderson Daniel. She was a homemaker and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Horace W. Arnold, of Manchester; four sons, Elder Mitchell (Pam) Buchanan and Kenneth Buchanan, both of Shelbyville, and James Buchanan and Lanny (Lisa) Buchanan, both of Manchester; five daughters, Christa (Michael) Alexander, Patricia (Jerry) Murray , Iwanda “Pumpkin” Buchanan, and Felicia (Mark) Anthony, all of Manchester, and Marilynn “Sweet Pea” Parsons, of Shelbyville; an adopted grandson, Orlando Buchanan and an adopted daughter, Shirley (Elder Glenn) Sutton, of Manchester; two step sons, Kenneth Arnold, of Manchester, and Ricky Brandon, of Murfreesboro; twenty two grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren; an uncle Richard Britton, of Shelbyville, and a host on cousins, friends, and relatives.

Mr. Raymond Hall, age 85, of Shelbyville, died Monday, June 7, 2010, at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be 12 PM Friday, June 11, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Timothy Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service Friday.

Pastor Lawson B. Howard, age 75, of Shelbyville, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 7, 2010, at Heritage Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 12 PM Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Bright Temple Church of God In Christ. Bishop Alfred Howard will be eulogist. Burial, with full military honors will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
The body will lie in state Saturday 9:00 AM until time of service.
He was born March 9, 1935, in Bedford County, to the late Rufus and Clara Mae Nelson Howard. He was founder of Whosoever Will Pentecostal Church and started the Area Wide Fellowship Program among churches. He loved to fish and was often found doing so on Mondays with Pastor Herbert L. Stewart and Pastor John Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Sweeney Howard of Shelbyville; two sons, Lawson Howard, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama and Calvin Howard, and his wife Tina, of Shelbyville; two daughters, Denis Reese and Arburdea Lyons and her husband Ray, both of Shelbyville; six grandchildren, Shanaya Reese, Ranisha Reese, Ashleigh Newman, Mikel Newman, Justin Howard, and Jasmine Howard; five great grandchildren; seven sisters, Jean Gregory, of Indianapolis, IN, Joyce Neely, of Dolton, IL, Lovie Cannon, of Goldsboro, NC, Mary Howard, of Chicago, IL, Hattie Bowen, and her husband Dennison, of Toledo, OH, Annie Anderson, of Kenosha, IL, and Emma Thompson, of Shelbyville.

Mr. Robert L. Shepherd, age 70, of Shelbyville, died Monday, June 14, 2010, at Heritage Medical Center.
Per his request, his remains were cremated. There will be no services.

Mrs. Mary Catherine Nelson Prince, age 75, formerly of Shelbyville, died at The Brian Center in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be 10AM Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Wallace Rowland and Reverend Jim Hamilton will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
She was born July 30, 1934, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Cecil Sandusky and Eddie Green Nelson. She was a graduate of Shelbyville Central High School and held a Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, in Library Science. She was a member of the Shelbyville Bedford County Historical Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and attended Belmont Methodist Church in Nashville.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lee Yearick, and her husband Ken, of Spruce Pine, North Carolina; two sons, Brad Prince, and his wife Mary Jewell, of Atlanta, and Chuck Prince, and his wife Katy, of Nashville; a sister, Frances Jordan, of Nashville; five grandchildren, Greg Prince, Art Prince, Oliver Prince, Kenton Yearick and Peyton Yearick. A longtime friend and companion, George Webster, of Nashville, is also left to mourn her passing.
