Mrs. Shirley Massie Pierce, age 77, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville, TN.

Graveside services will be 12 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Willow Mount Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10-12 PM Tuesday at the Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.

She was born January 26, 1933 in Shelbyville, TN, to the late Walter and Janie Hughes Massie. She worked at the Shelbyville Power Company for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Helen Johnson.

She is survived by her sisters, Jean Calahan and Wilma Bearden; niece, Pam Morgan; nephews, Mike Calahan, Steven Johnson, David Bearden, and Eddie Johnson; Great nieces, Kelly Morgan, Bailey Bearden, and Kenley Johnson, Julie Tant, and Shelley Calahan; Great nephews, Andrew Morgan and Payton Bearden.

Mrs. Marjorie Louise Haller Crigler, age 94, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center.

Graveside services will be 1:30 Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Rose Bank Cemetery. Geoff Giesemann will officiate.

Visitation will be 12 – 1 PM Sunday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.

She was born February 13, 1916, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Louis George and Marguerite Kinzig Haller.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jacob Grimmett Crigler, in 1998, and a brother, Robert Franklin Haller of Atlanta.

Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Marguerite Caroline Crigler Morrison, of Marietta, Georgia and Barbara Ann Crigler Mayfield, and her husband Clell, of Birmingham, Alabama; a son, Judge Robert Grimmett Crigler, and his wife Cyndi of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren, John Earle Morrison, William Jacob Morrison, Michael Louis Mayfield, Scott McClellan Mayfield, Devon Crigler Faulkner, Jacob Peyton Crigler, and Taylor Leigh Crigler; two great grandchildren, John Alexander Morrison and Sarah Remi Mayfield and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio, and grew up in Chattanooga where she attended the Girls Preparatory School. She briefly attended Miami University in Ohio. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was active in Beta Sigma Phi, the Shelbyville Women's Club, the Garden Club and the Flat Creek FCE. In her earlier years she served as PTA president of both the elementary and high schools.

Marjorie married Jacob Crigler in 1933 and they were married until his death in 1998. In 1945 the couple moved from Chattanooga to the family farm in Flat Creek where they made their home for most of their years.

She had many hobbies including playing bridge, flower arranging and her clubs. She also enjoyed working the polls on election day at Flat Creek.

Mr. James T. Cleveland, Jr. age 79, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, December 11, 2010, at his home after an extended illness.

Graveside services will be 12:30 Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Elder Willie L. Rippy will officiate and burial with be full military honors.

The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until 12 noon at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.

He was born march 16, 1931, in Bedford County, to the late James T. and Alberta Campbell Cleveland, Sr.  He was retired from the Unites States Air Force and Boeing Corporation.  He was also a self employed electronics technician.  He was a member of the Sergeant’s Air Force Association and Kings Chapel.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Ernest T. Cleveland, and a sister, Johnnie McMahon.

He is survived by a daughter, Beverly Alexander, of Greenville, South Carolina; three sisters, Sarah Cleveland and Ethel G. Medaries, both of Nashville, and Pamela Kelso, and her husband Gary, of Wartrace; three brothers, Walter Cleveland, of Springfield, Ohio, Oscar Cleveland, and his wife Shirley, of Albion, Michigan, and George Howard Cleveland, and his wife Barbara Jean, of Junction Rives, Michigan; a granddaughter, Tracey Downs, of South Carolina, and two great granddaughters, Kristen and Courtney Downs; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was born September 27, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to John and Pansy Hicks Mooneyhan, of Shelbyville. He was self employed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Donna Harrell Mooneyhan, of Wartrace; two sons, John Jason Mooneyhan and Daniel Lee Mooneyhan, both of Shelbyville; two daughters, Alisha Cook, and her husband Jeremy, and Tabitha Renae Mooneyhan, both of Shelbyville; seven brothers, Gene Mooneyhan and his wife Betty,  Willie Mooneyhan, Tommy Mooneyhan and his wife Dina, Hank Mooneyhan, Matt Mooneyhan and his wife Tammy, Mike Mooneyhan and Timmy Mooneyhan, and his wife Becky, all of Shelbyville; two sisters, Christina McCullough, and her husband Steven, and Wanda Lovvorn, both of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren, Kaden Canady, Kamiah Canady, Alex Mooneyhan, Jase Mooneyhan, Ruby Brasher, Jacob Mooneyhan, and Eli Cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Baldovin, in 2007. 

She is survived by a daughter, Gail Earl, of Shelbyville, and a son, Michael Gillinson, of California; two brothers, Ron Dryva, of California and Tom Dryva, of Colorado; two sisters, Ruth Gray, of Brunswick, Georgia and Dorothy Dryva, of California; two grandchildren, Charlie and Donald Earl, both of Shelbyville.

She was born May 20, 1920, in Dickson, Tennessee, to the late Leonard C. and Grace Lankford Donegan.  She retired from Empire Pencil Company and attended First Church of The Nazarene for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Alvis Baker, and a son, Don Baker. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, J.C. Donegan, Wilson Donegan, and Leaman Donegan, and a sister, Ethelene Clark. 

She is survived by three sons, Gerald Baker, and his wife Betty, of Shelbyville, Phil Baker, and his wife Sandra, of Smyrna, and Dr. Tim Baker, and his wife Natalie, of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers, Leonard Donegan, Jr. and Terry Donegan, both of Shelbyville; Edith Bateman, of Tullahoma; ten grandchildren, Diane Baker Webb, and her husband Tracy, Lori Baker Craig, and her husband Jon, Jamie Baker and his wife Felicia, Jason Baker, and his wife Angie, Mindee Baker Howard, and her husband Jeffrey, Yance Baker, Shelly M. Mr. Thomas J. Clanton, age 88, of Brentwood, a Shelbyville native, died Thursday, December 30, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. 

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Geoff Giesemann and Russ Countess will officiate. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 1 PM Sunday until time of service.

He was born September 5, 1922, in Bedford County, to the late Thomas George and Irene Lokey Clanton. He was an Army veteran of World War II He served in the European Theatre and was awarded the Silver Star for his participation in five major battles. He was a retired firefighter of 35 years at Arnold Engineering and Development Center in Tullahoma, and a retired employee of 24 years at the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department.  He was a faithful member of Fairlane Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Patsy Thomas Clanton in 2003, two brothers, Albert Ray Clanton, Bob Clanton, four sisters, Sarah Ferrell, Jo Ann Wilkers, Dot Molder, and Donna Spence, half brothers, Otis Clanton, Lewis Clanton, and Firis Clanton, and half sister, Lady Ervin.

He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Rambo-Igney, and her husband Mike, of Nashville, and Beth Allen, and her husband Steve, of Bellevue; a sister, Connie Curry of Shelbyville, two grandchildren, Andrea Rambo Ross and Elliott Thomas McCeney, three great-grandchildren, Jay Ross, Drew Ross, and Sean Ross.
