Mr. William Glendon Dye, age 75, of Shelbyville, died Monday, August 2, 2010, at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center. 

Funeral services will be10 AM Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Faith Baptist Church. Reverend Charles Redmond will officiate, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. 

He was born November 14, 1934, in Bedford County, one of eight children to the late George and Salley Jennings Dye.  He was a retired leather worker engaged in the walking horse industry. He was a Charter Member of Faith Baptist Church where he served as Church Trustee, choir member, usher, and devoted member. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle Jennings Dye and two sisters, Ann Deloise Dye Clanton and Marion Louise Dye Holton. 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Fay Cook Dye, of Shelbyville; a son, David Dye, and his wife Evelyn, of Shelbyville; two sisters, Edna Juanita Dye King and Elizabeth Geraldine Dye Lawwell, both of Shelbyville, and two brothers, George Powers Dye and Jerry Wilburn Dye, both of Shelbyville; two grandchildren, Rebekah Joy Dye and Jonathan David Dye.

Mrs. Flora Boutin, age 96, of Shelbyville, died Friday, August 6, 2010, at Christian Care Center of Bedford County. 

Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.  Reverend Trevin Wax will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to service Wednesday. 

She was born January 30, 1914, in Guyana, South America, to the late Henry Ho-Sing-Loy and Sarah Wong.  

She was preceded in death by a son, Ron Barclay, of Shelbyville who passed away in 2003. 

She is survived by two sons, Terry Barclay, and his wife Jan, of England, and Henry Barclay, of Canada; daughter in law, Vivian Barclay, of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Beverley Hewitt and Tisha Lanier, both of Shelbyville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Maebelle Gibson Johnson, age 85, of Chapel Hill, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010, at her home after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.  Reverend James Cole will officiate, with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.

Visitation will be 1-5 PM Sunday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.

She was born April 29, 1925, in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late Clarence and Lilly Shelton Gibson.  Along with her husband, Fred, they were the owners/operators of the infamous Sam Davis Hotel.  She was a lifelong member of the McKendree United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Johnson, in 1980.  She is survived by two daughters, Susan Johnson, of Chapel Hill, and Martha Moreno, and her husband Angel, of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Coryenne Kellough, of Evansville, Indiana, and Wanda Weinenger, of Pico Rivera, California; five grandchildren, Kelly Jane Mayes, Arthur Lee Clemons, Jr., Casey McGrady Clemons, Erick Ramon Moreno, and Michael Augusto Moreno; seven great grandchildren, Hailee Brooke Clemons, Kristin Renee Mayes, Andrew Tyler Mayes, Nickolas Matthew Diego Moreno, Tyler Michael Augusto Moreno, Anakin Watson, and Zachary Garrett.

Mrs. Sandra Savage Vandergriff, age 57, of Shelbyville, died Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Heritage Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.  Reverend Bobby McGee will officiate, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.

She was born September 7, 1952, in Shelbyville, to Marion L. and June Prosser Savage of Shelbyville.  She was a bookkeeper by profession and a member of Edgemont Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death her grandparents, Archie and Mamie Prosser and Ottis and Zuella Savage.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Marion Savage and a grandchild, Madelynn Grace Martin.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 35+ years, Michael Vandergriff, of Shelbyville; a daughter, Brandi Martin, and her husband Jason, of Shelbyville; four sisters, Barbara Thomas, and her husband Monty, Ellen Taylor, and her husband Buddy, Connie Crafton, and her husband Aaron, and Nancy Sorrells, and her husband, David, all of Shelbyville; two grandchildren, Brooklynn Martin and Bradlee Martin.
