Mrs. Gracie Mae “Tilly” Dugger, age 67, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Heritage Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, November 6, 2009, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Lamar Dodson will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10AM Friday until time of service.
She was born February 16, 1942, in Bedford County, to the late Robert Edward and Herston Ovela Elkins Uselton. She was retired from Tyson Foods and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Molly Ovela Wallace.
She is survived by her husband of twenty five years, Mike Dugger, of Shelbyville; a son, Mickey Evitts, of Cookeville; step-daughter, Donna Price, of Florida; a brother, Bobby Joe Uselton, and his wife Mildred, of Shelbyville, an adopted brother, Bobby Elkins, and his wife Mary, of Shelbyville; two sisters, Christine Haley, and her husband Woody, and Dorothy Kirk, both of Shelbyville; several grandchildren.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be 6 PM Friday, November 13, 2009, at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. Per his request, his remains were cremated.
He was born February 10, 1953, in Vincennes, Indiana, to Lewis Bathe, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and the late Loretta Elizabeth Wilson Bathe. In addition to his father, he is survived by three daughters, Melissa, Kimberly, and Rebecca, all of Florida; three brothers, James, of Tampa, Florida, Robert, of Illinois, and Charles, of Michigan; two sisters, Kay and Susan, both of Tampa, Florida; eight grandchildren, and many many friends.

Mrs. Barbara Harper Whitener, age 52, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Shelbyville, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, November 16, 2009, at Sevier Street First Baptist Church. Reverend R.C. Verge will be eulogist, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 AM until time of service Monday at the church.
She was born March 21, 1957, in Shelbyville, to Rebecca Greer Harper, of Shelbyville, and the late Jake Harper. She was a graduate of Shelbyville Central High School and a Data Technician with DCI Dialysis Clinic. She was a member of Sevier Street First Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Chris Harper, of Shelbyville; four brothers, J. W. Harper and James Harper, both of Houston, Texas, Wade Harper, of Shelbyville, and Rickey Harper, of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Clara Heath, of Nashville, and Shirley Vaughn and Rita Wilcox, both of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Everette Patton, Keiron Patton, and Jadyn Harper.

Mr. James Edward Rowland, age 85, of Shelbyville, died Friday, November 13, 2009, at his home after an extended illness.

He was born June 4, 1924, in Bedford County, to the late Pet and Maggie Earnhart Rowland. He was retired from General Felt Industries and was a “Down To Earth Farmer”. He also loved to work with mules.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Pilkington Rowland, of Shelbyville; a sister, Sarah Hoover, of Shelbyville, and a brother, Thomas Rowland, and his wife, Dorothy, of Shelbyville; his special and devoted companion “Pooh”; sisters in law, Elizabeth Couch and Margaret Little, and bother in law, Bill Pilkington. He is also survived by special nieces and nephews, Bobby Jett, Jr., Edith Jett, Travis Jett, Jennie, Edward, Valorie, Lonnie, Clayton, Robert, Paul Jett, Beverly, Amanda, Kaylyn, Aaron, Elizabeth, Brandi, Dusty, Wyatt, Robert Jett, Corey, Cody, Corina, Skye, Raine, Madison, Bobby Jett, and Faye Jett, Robert Couch, and his wife, Karen.

Mrs. Nettie Mattox, age 94, of Shelbyville, formerly of Greer, South Carolina, died Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center.

She was born October 4, 1915, in Piedmont, South Carolina, to the late John and Janie Riddle Howard. She was a homemaker and a long time member of First Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clavis Samuel Mattox, a son, Samuel Mattox, daughter, Jayne Mattox, and a grandson, Lewis Odom..
Survivors include grandchildren, Kenneth Odom, and his wife, Liesa, of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and a granddaughter, Cindy Pinegar, and her husband, Jerry, of Manchester, Tennessee; six great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Michelle Rene’ “Shelly” Moon, age 49, of Estill springs, Tennessee, died Sunday, November 15, 2009, at her home after an extended illness.

She was born September 21, 1960, in Highland Park, Michigan, to Richard and Diane Blumenthal Bourbanais, of Hudson, Florida. She was a Supervisor of the United States Post Office and an award winning Postal Manager. She enjoyed coaching softball for her daughters, was an avid fisherman, and loved gardening.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Roy O. “Bud” Moon, of Estill Springs; a grandmother, Pauline Blumenthal, of Hudson, Florida; a son, Thomas Bogan IV, of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Kendra Parker, and her husband, Josh, of Smyrna, and Kynice Strickland, and her husband, James, of LaVergne; two brothers, Rick Bourbanais, of Brighton, Michigan and Frank Bourbanais, of Colechester, Connecticut; a sister, Lori Ann Borbanais; four grandchildren, Linkon Parker, Eli Parker, Liam Bogan, and Elliot Strickland.

Mr. Guy N. Beasley, age 92, of Shelbyville, died Friday, November 20, 2009, at Heritage Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Victory Baptist Church. Reverend Jimmy Tedder will officiate. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Rose Bank Cemetery in Flat Creek.

He was born January 5, 1917, in Christiana, Tennessee, to the late Will and Esther Overcast Beasley. He was retired as Operation Supervisor from Shelbyville Power Company after 43 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Clarice Holden Beasley, in 1971, and his second wife, Mae Francis Shearin Beasley.
He is survived by his son, Rick Beasley, and his wife Pam Neese Beasley, of Shelbyville; a step-son, Bryant Shearin, of Manchester, and step-daughter, Mary Lynn Shearin Brannon, of Shelbyville; a granddaughter, Katie Beasley Ducey, and her husband, Jake, of Franklin, and a great grandson, Miles Jacob Ducey.

She was born march 16, 1917, in Unionville, Tennessee, to the late Samuel and Lenna Mae Osteen Knox. She was a retired hairdresser and was a member of the Hairdresser Association. She also held membership in Cannon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Landis, and his wife Barbara, of Shelbyville; nieces and nephews, Mike Landis, and his wife Cassie, of Tullahoma, Kathy Evans, and her husband Simon, of Oak Hills, California, and Scott Landis, and his wife Pippa, of Memphis; great niece, Kari Evans and great great nephew, Nichols Evans.

Sharon Diane Jordan Crismon, age 50 of Eagleville, TN passed away Tuesday,
November 24, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was a faithful member of Prosperity Missionary Baptist Church as well as
Bright Temple Church of God in Christ. She was employed at Health Springs.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Frederick Crismon; two brothers Nathaniel ‘Lynn’ Jordan and Randall Jordan and fiancé’ Melissa Lambert; her mother-in-law Dorothy Crismon; Sister-in-law Brenda Crismon; two nephews Larry Crismon Jr. (Carissa) and Andrae Crismon (Crystal); two nieces Alisha (Michael) Aile and DeAndra Jordan; her pride and joy great nephews; Thaddeus, Matthias, Joseph & Justin; Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Doris Johnson and Uncle Joe Watts; and many family and friends.

Mr. James Alan “Jim” O’Dell, age 64, of Shelbyville, died Friday, November 27, 2009, at Heritage Medical Center.
The family will receive visitors 4-6 PM Monday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Per his request, his remains were cremated. His cremains will be buried in Russellville, Kentucky at a later date.
He was born August 7, 1945, in Russellville, Kentucky, to the late Joseph Hawkins and Ruby Lee McDonald O’Dell. He was retired from Calsonic Corporation and the former Industrial Recruiter for Shelbyville Bedford County.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, William “Billy” O’Dell and Frederick O’Dell; and two sisters, Eva Ann Lanier and Kathleen Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlotte Peck O’Dell, of Shelbyville; a daughter, Lisa Dugger, and her husband, Tony, of Murfreesboro; two sons, David O’Dell, and Denton O’Dell, both of Shelbyville; two sisters, Evelyn Collins, of Peachtree City, Georgia, and Barbara Turner, of Macon, Georgia; three grandchildren, Sam Dugger, Lindsay Dugger, and Jesse O’Dell.
